1. Introduction

thewonderjoy ("we", "our", or "us") builds delightful software, including WonderSnap (a macOS window manager), Clipnest (a macOS clipboard manager), and Celebrations Bot (a Slack app for team celebrations). This policy explains what data each product handles and how. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently.

2. Our macOS Apps: WonderSnap and Clipnest

WonderSnap and Clipnest are designed to be private by default. They run entirely on your Mac:

• No accounts: Neither app requires sign-up, login, or any personal information.
• Local storage only: Everything the apps save (window layouts and preferences in WonderSnap; your clipboard history and snippets in Clipnest) is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.
• No collection: We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your data, usage analytics, or any content the apps handle, including the contents of your clipboard or your window arrangements.
• System permissions: Any macOS permissions the apps request (such as Accessibility for window management) are used solely to provide their features on your device.

3. Celebrations Bot: Data We Collect

Celebrations Bot is a hosted Slack service, so it needs a small amount of data to work:

• Slack User IDs and Team IDs: To identify users and workspaces.
• Names and Dates: Birthday and anniversary dates that users voluntarily provide.
• Email Addresses: To provide support and verify user authenticity.
• Timezone Information: To ensure notifications are sent at the correct local time.
• Billing Information: Your workspace's subscription plan, status, and payment records (such as transaction identifiers) for paid subscriptions.

Payments: Subscription payments for Celebrations Bot are processed by Razorpay, our payment provider. Your card or payment details are handled directly by Razorpay and are never stored on our servers.

4. How We Use Your Data

Data collected by Celebrations Bot is used solely for the purpose of:

• Scheduling and sending celebration notifications to your selected Slack channel.
• Adjusting notification timing based on your team's timezone.
• Providing customer support and communicating important service updates.
• Managing your subscription: applying plan limits, processing upgrades and cancellations, and keeping payment records for accounting and fraud prevention.

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or tracking purposes, in any of our products.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or rent your personal data to third parties. Celebrations Bot data is only processed by our application infrastructure (e.g., database) and, for paid subscriptions, by our payment provider Razorpay, solely to facilitate the service. Our macOS apps have nothing to share, since your data never reaches us.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

For WonderSnap and Clipnest, all data lives on your device: deleting it from within the app or uninstalling the app removes it. For Celebrations Bot, we retain your data as long as the bot is installed on your workspace, perform a yearly cleanup to remove inactive data, and will delete your data immediately on request.
